🎉 Happy Publication Day to Dream Menagerie the new book from @kerbyrosanes

😻🐛 I’ve just finished colouring these adorable little cat-erpillars and I absolutely love how this page has turned out! I had so much fun playing around with the greens, warm golden tones and those gorgeous autumnal leaves.

For this one, I used Neocolor II for the background, then based everything else with Derwent Inktense before building up the depth and contrast with my Prismacolor pencils. I finished it off with a few highlights using my white Sakura Gelly Roll and a little gold shimmer spray for some extra sparkle.

If you’d like to see how this page came together, I’ve also shared a two-part colour-along over on my YouTube channel, My Colourful Country Life.

Forgot to post this one from Rooms of Wonder by @johannabasford 💞

I wanted to bring some colour to this page while still keeping it simple.

There’s a colour along up on the channel if you’d like to join in.

🎨 This was coloured using Prismacolor pencils only with @kjdesignbykaren paints for the border.

🐲🪐 Another page from Dream Voyage by @menis_art for Spacetember.

A few issues with lost footage and a dirty camera lens in part…. But we got there in the end and there is a colour along up on the channel if you’d like to see how I coloured this galaxy dragon.

🐨 My first page completed from the new book Dream Menagerie by @kerbyrosanes

🌅 I just had to start with an Aussie hybrid, the ‘Koala Kookaburra’ adding some blue to the wings to mimic the beautiful blue winged kookaburra.

There is a colour along up on the channel, if you’d like to follow along with me.

🎨 I used Prismacolor pencils and Derwent Inktense with both my Woomer and Tooli-Art acrylic paint pens for highlights.

🌈 My August completed pages!

Somehow I managed to finish 11 pages, making this my biggest colouring month in years. I completed three more pages in Rooms of Wonder, finished another WIP and finally coloured in two previously untouched books.

💬 I’d love to know which page is your favourite for the month?

To see my top 3 and hear about my colouring processes, you can watch the full video now on my YouTube channel. Link in bio.
